Aluminum Camlock Type DP – Male Clap Adapter

type DP Aluminum cam & groove male adapter is used to plug into the female coupler such as Type B, C and D couplers. Camlock fittings work well in dry bulk and low pressure liquid applications. The adapter and coupler are joined together after the contact is made with the gasket like Buna – N or other gaskets. Then close the cam arms simultaneously to produce a uniform seal against the gasket.

Applications:
Given its good abrasion resistant, light weight and economical cost, aluminum cam & groove fittings are used with water, hydraulic oil, coolants, gasoline & petroleum products.

Remark: Camlock coupling is not suitable for the transfer of steam, pressured air and liquid gases.
